Qaiser & Kishwar from Canada

I thank Mehndi.com for providing a platform where I got acquainted with Kishwar, my wife. The purpose to join this website was clear; I was looking for a compatible life partner. The search criteria were simple, it never included race, religion, ethnicity, and physical appearance etc rather I focused on the views, nature and values of the person. We had our first chat in January 2010, which was among the most interesting chats I have ever had, all our views matched except for 'when we want to get married?' Our communications increased, chat sessions ran along with phone and webcam sessions, mutual attraction was apparent. We decided to meet in March 2010 and consequently, I flew from Toronto to Vancouver on 4th March 2010. Marriage was no where in Kishwar's schedule for next three years, but that schedule was not rigid, there was a clause for amendment if she liked a person, and consequently, the amendment took place and I was the lucky person: P.We enjoyed exploring Vancouver together; she was a simple girl, just the kind of life partner I was looking for. We decided to marry with the hope that her family will not object to it. I went back to Toronto on 8th march 2010. When she talked to her brother, he didn't approve the proposal but we stayed firm on our decision. I took withdrawal from the college and packed my luggage, and reached Vancouver on 16th March 2010 and we got married. Her brother is now aware of our relation but he doesn't approve it. We are not sure of the grounds for his disagreement, it maybe due to Shia(Kishwar)-Sunni(Me) or any other issue, but we believe no issue should stop two people who want to sincerely live together. I believe her brother will accept our relation and marriage one day and that will be the day of celebration: P. Qaiser Aftab
