Assalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
Alhamdulillah, I am a practicing Muslim who strives to live according to the Qur?an and Sunnah. I am regular in my five daily prayers and, by the grace of Allah, I am punctual in Tahajjud in the last portion of the night. Alhamdulillah, my entire family also maintains this practice.
I make an effort to pray Fajr and Isha in the masjid regularly. Due to distance (approximately 15 minutes), we have established a dedicated musallah in our home where we perform the remaining daily prayers in jama?ah.
I have a deep love for Islam, for Allah سبحانه وتعالى, and for the blessed cities of Makkah and Madinah (Madinatul Munawwarah). Alhamdulillah, I have been consistently spending the last ten days of Ramadan there since 2009, have performed Hajj, and continue to go for Umrah multiple times a year. My aspiration is to draw closer to Allah and to be counted among the Sabiqun mentioned in Surah Al-Waqi?ah.
I maintain an Islamic lifestyle, including keeping a beard and dressing modestly. I believe in simplicity, humility, and gratitude?I am content with whatever Allah provides and try to live accordingly.
I am currently pursuing an Alim (Islamic scholar) course to further strengthen my understanding of Deen.
Alhamdulillah, I am blessed with four children. My son and eldest daughter are Huffaz of the Qur?an. Family, tarbiyah, and strong Islamic values are central to my life.
Professionally, I am a business owner with established companies in both Canada and the United States. I have been living in Canada since 1994 and have also spent time in the U.S. I enjoy traveling and have visited many countries around the world.
I speak English and Urdu fluently and have basic understanding of Arabic and some Chinese.
Alhamdulillah, I am also connected with well-known scholars and regularly host a respected international Islamic scholar when he visits Canada. Details can be shared upon further discussion, in sha Allah.
I firmly believe that whatever good is in me is from Allah, and any shortcomings are from myself. I continuously strive to improve and seek the pleasure of Allah in all aspects of life.
